Of course, it wasn’t long before Lancaster, a man who has run some of the most competitive minor hockey teams in Manitoba, could no longer watch from the stands.
In fact, this past summer, Lancaster had 16 different teams playing competitive, off-season spring hockey under the Manitoba All-Stars banner, and soon registrations will open for a brand-new season. “This is about the time we get going,” Lancaster said. “We start to have tryouts and getting kids involved in our programs. It’s going to get busy.”
